You will find a complete listing of our exam options below. All courses end with the exam on the final day. Most exams can be challenged without course attendance, but not all. Please note that the discounted exam retake fee of $250 is only available to those who have already taken the associated DRI course. Those who challenged the exam, but have not taken a course will be required to pay the full exam fee of $750 in order to retake the exam.

Healthcare Examination

The Business Continuity Overview Course for the Healthcare industry (HCLE-2000) is designed to provide business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management professionals with a fundamental understanding of the unique aspects of business continuity in Healthcare. The course provides a basis for understanding the DRI International Ten Professional Practices as they relate to the Healthcare provider industry. Likewise, the curriculum reflects Joint Commission (JCAHO) standards, the HIPAA privacy and security regulations, and gives consideration to NIMS (National Incident Management System), OSHA, and other related regulations, laws, and standards. The course prepares the student for the Healthcare Qualifying Exam, which is a prerequisite for either the Associate Healthcare Provider Continuity Professional (AHPCP) or the Certified Healthcare Provider Continuity Professional (CHPCP) certification application. Four-day course, exam on day five. Allows individual to apply for AHPCP or CHPCP.

Public Sector Examination

DRI International administers a professional examination in Public Sector Continuity Planning. The peer-reviewed, comprehensive examination, developed by subject matter experts, consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering public sector continuity and emergency management concepts. Students should allow 2.5 hours to complete the exam. Students who successfully complete the examination (with a score of 75 percent of higher) earn a certificate of completion. A successful score also qualifies individuals to apply for DRI International certification. Students can view exam results live in their MyDRI profile, and results also will be reported in a letter emailed to the student. The exam is provided at no additional cost to students registered for GCLE-2000 or GCP-501.Separate registration is required if not taken in conjunction with a course. See registration information for pricing, schedules, and availability. It is recommended, but not required, to register for GCLE-2000 or GCP-501 prior to sitting for the examination. The list price for this exam is $750.00 first exam and $250.00 for retakes.

Risk Management Examination

Practitioners must take and pass the Examination for Risk Management Professionals before they can apply for certification. The Examination for Risk Management Professionals is step one of a two part Certification process and consists of a multiple-choice format test covering "Professional Practice 2: Risk Evaluation and Control" and Risk Management concepts. It takes 2-1/2 hours to complete the exam and requires a passing grade. Successful completion of the exam, qualifies an individual to subsequently apply for DRI certification. The fee for the Examination for Risk Management Professionals is included in the price of the DRI International training course, Business Continuity Risk Management (RMLE-2000). It is required to register for Business Continuity Risk Management prior to sitting for the exam

Audit Examination - ISO 22301

DRI International administers the only professional examination in Business Continuity Planning for Audit. The comprehensive examination, developed by subject matter experts, consists of 100 multiple-choice questions covering business continuity and disaster recovery, as well as emergency management auditing concepts as primarily presented in the ISO 22301 standard.

Students should allow 2.5 hours to complete the exam. Students who successfully complete the examination (with a score of 75 percent of higher) earn a certificate of completion. A successful score also qualifies individuals to apply for DRI International certification. Students can view exam results live in their MyDRI profile, and results also will be reported in a letter emailed to the student.

The exam is provided at no additional cost to students registered for BCLE AUD. See registration information for pricing, schedules, and availability. You must register for BCLE AUD prior to sitting for the examination. Exam retakes are $250.00.

Prerequisites for the examination vary depending on location. Examinations in Asia, Australia, the Middle East and select other markets are only offered in conjunction with training.

Notice to Veterans

Many benefits are available to advance the education and skills of Veterans and Service members. One benefit is reimbursement for the cost of the DRI Qualifying Examination. Currently, VA reimburses for the test costs, or up to $2,000 for each test. There is no limit to the number of tests you may take, or number of times you may take the same test. And, VA will pay for tests even if you fail them. DRI also offers active duty service members and veterans the opportunity to retake the test for free for the first time if necessary.

You may receive reimbursement for approved licensing and certification tests if you qualify for Veteran's education benefits such as the Montgomery GI Bill. To apply for this approved VA Education benefit, please contact the VA. All exam opportunities on the public calendar and DRI exam are available for the GI Bill program.
