New York – February 14, 2018 – Disaster Recovery Institute International (“DRI”) the world's leading business continuity and disaster recovery training organization, is pleased to announce that HMS, a leading provider of cost containment solutions to the U.S. healthcare market, has received the DRI accreditation of “Resilient Enterprise” in recognition of the organization’s extraordinary commitment to preparedness and resiliency.
“As the recipient of the prestigious DRI International Resilient Enterprise certification, HMS has demonstrated a commitment to creating and maintaining a holistic program that provides proactive threat mitigation with the ability to reduce the impacts to its customers even in the event of a disruptive incident,” said Chloe Demrovsky, President and CEO of DRI International.
The HMS team, led by Scott Pettigrew, Vice President and Chief Security Officer, was presented with the “Resilient Enterprise” award yesterday evening during the Awards Gala at DRI’s premier annual conference for business continuity professionals, DRI2018, held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, TN.
“HMS is honored to be recognized by DRI for our business continuity efforts,” said Pettigrew. “More than ever, businesses must anticipate the unexpected and be prepared to ensure continuous operations for their organizations as well as uninterrupted service for their customers.”
Established to recognize organizations that have demonstrated extraordinary commitment to preparedness and resiliency, the “Resilient Enterprise” and “Hub of Resilience” awards are DRI's official "standard of excellence" designations for organizations.
The "Resilient Enterprise" award recognizes entities for extraordinary commitment to areas of business continuity management (BCM), including emergency management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management.
