Description
This intensive two day (16-hour) course prepares participants for the MBCP (Master Business Continuity Professional) Case Study Exam. The course addresses all phases of business continuity planning. The Master's Case Study Exam is a challenging 4.5 hour case study that assesses the candidate's knowledge and the application of that knowledge.
Attendees are required to have 5 years business continuity experience and previous passing score on the DRI Qualifying Exam.
INSTRUCTION: Days 1 - 2, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm EST.
MASTER'S EXAM: Can be taken online at a time of your convenience following the course.
Objective
Successful completion of the BCP 601W course and passing the essay exam with an 75% or higher earns students a Certificate in Business Continuity Master Case Study Review from DRI International, as well as 16 Continuing Education Activity Points (CEAPs).
Upon completion of the course, the attendee is familiar with the: MBCP examination format; Professional Practices for Business Continuity Planners; methods for creating and managing a planning project; and actions to be taken within a hypothetical business continuity planning case.

Upon registration you will be sent an invitation to a GoToWebinar session. The course will be taught through this web meeting function. You will need a microphone and speakers to take the course or you will have to call in via telephone. Communication is via Voice Over IP, which is part of the GoToMeeting package.
The instructor will provide breaks during class. Questions are encouraged. Two-way voice communication and interaction between attendee and instructor is an important part of the course.

Upon completion of this course, when you are ready to take the exam you will need to log into your DRI account and click on online exam.
NOTE: The Exam only is available in certain regions. Please contact the DRI Office for more information. It is mandatory that you use your personal laptop or computer for the BCP-601 course. DRI will not provide a laptop or computer for you.
