The Great Shuffle or Great Opportunity?

Event: Annual Conference - DRI2023

Author: Margaret Millett

The “Great Resignation” or the “Great Shuffle” provides business continuity professionals a chance to reevaluate careers and explore new professional opportunities. There is no turning back from the workplace changes brought about by the Great Resignation/Shuffle. The move to remote work and changes in job flexibility may not have occurred for another 30 years if not for Covid-19. If you are looking to change your career (internally or externally), you can still land your dream position. It just requires some strategy on your part. DRI Career Survey: The Changing Role of the Resilience Professional

Event: DRI White Paper/Survey

Author: DRI Future Vision Committee

The DRI International Career Survey was intended to assess how the role of the resilience professional is changing. We wanted to know how resilience professionals feel about their roles, where they sit within organizations, and how they interact with related disciplines. What we found reaffirmed our belief that there is still considerable confusion about the exact makeup of a resilience professional and even resilience management itself, despite broader acceptance of the common goal of improved organizational resilience.
