DRI International Now An IRCA Approved Training Organization

DRI International is proud to announce that its Business Continuity Audit training course is now a Certified Training Course by the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA), the leading professional body for management system auditors worldwide. DRI is also registered as an IRCA Approved Training Organization.

Representing over 10,000 registered auditors in 150 countries, IRCA approval promotes DRI's standing in both the public and private sectors, in compliance with internationally accepted standards and processes, including ISO 22301.

"As an IRCA-approved organization, DRI affirms its reputation as a globally recognized and trusted source of professional training," says DRI President and CEO Al Berman. "DRI and IRCA have long had the same commitment to increasing the visibility and value of auditing as a profession, and this partnership makes that commitment even stronger."

"IRCA certification for DRI's ISO 22301 Audit course gives DRI additional credibility in its course offerings," says DRI International Director of Education Gary Villeneuve. "The ISO 22301 Audit course gives students the training, tools, and hands-on experience needed to audit emergency management and business continuity programs."

Each year, around 60,000 business professionals attend an IRCA-certified training course, such as the Business Continuity Planning for Auditors course offered by DRI, which prepares students to pass both DRI and IRCA’s auditor examinations. As with DRI certified professionals, IRCA-registered auditors are recognized for having the required standards of training, technical experience, work experience and audit experience, and maintaining their professional development.

About the Business Continuity Planning for Auditors Course:
IRCA-approved, Business Continuity Planning for Auditors – ISO 22301 (BCMS Auditor/Lead Auditor (ISO 22301)) offers five days of instruction designed to prepare students to pass both the DRI and IRCA Examinations. In addition to its focus on the ISO 22301 standard, BCLE-AUD addresses other business continuity, disaster recovery and emergency management standards, such as ASIS SPC.1, NFPA 1600, ISO 27001 and NIST standards, as well as the ISO 22313 standard. The course covers auditing basics, program management, risk assessment, business impact analysis, the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), and BCMS metrics.
